Makers markets and events at GATHER

There is nearly always something on at GATHER, our free community venue. Craftaholics Makers Market returns on the first Wednesday of each month from 10am to 3pm, packed with handmade jewellery, cards, bags and more. So it is well worth timing a visit around it.

This month also brings MAKE GEEK from 15 to 22 August, eight days of tabletop gaming, dice and models for fans of every age. Families can also catch a free screening of The Little Mermaid on 15 August, with showings at 11am and 2pm and no booking needed. So there is something to please all ages this weekend.

A day made of small discoveries

Part of the fun is not quite knowing what you will find. So leave a little time to wander beyond your list. Pop into Poole Library for a quiet browse, or follow your nose to a stall you have never noticed before.
