Flip Out Poole to close for essential maintenance

Popular indoor adventure park Flip Out Poole will be closing its doors for essential building maintenance from Tuesday 3rd June 2025 following the discovery of RAAC in part of the roof.

Following a full investigation by The Dolphin’s structural engineers, it has been confirmed that the issue is isolated to one area and doesn’t affect the rest of the centre, which will remain open as usual for the duration of the works.

John Grinnell, Centre Manager of The Dolphin said, “Our structural and building engineers have assessed the affected areas and have confirmed there is no imminent danger to visitors or staff.

“Legal & General are committed to a proactive approach to building maintenance. These works are a proactive measure to avoid any potential unsafe conditions in the future.

“Whilst RAAC has been found in one area of the roof, this is isolated to Flip Out and doesn’t affect the rest of the centre, which will remain open as usual for the duration of the roof works.

“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure. Our team aims to complete these works as soon as possible, which will provide a permanent solution and ensure Flip Out Poole can reopen for many years to come.

“In the meantime, we encourage you to enjoy The Dolphin’s other excellent leisure attractions such as our free-play gaming arcade (High Score Arcades) and bouldering and climbing gym (The Project Climbing Centre).”

All guests with prior bookings during the closure will be refunded in full by the Flip Out team.
