GATHER suits a wide range of events. Workshops, pop-ups, exhibitions, arts and crafts sessions and wellbeing activities all work brilliantly here. Furthermore the space is open to everyone, so members of the public can drop in, take part and connect with what’s happening in their community.

What the Space Includes

The unit spans 1,800 square feet and comes fully equipped with tables, chairs, a sink and free Wi-Fi. Additional equipment also available on request includes bean bags, easels and freestanding televisions for presentations. Outside the unit, a blackboard lets you promote your event to passing visitors throughout the day. Additionally leaflet distribution and advertising on the mall floor or outside the GATHER unit is not permitted.

What You Need to Know Before Booking

GATHER is free to use and the requirements are straightforward. You’ll need to provide Public Liability Insurance with a minimum of £5 million coverage and a Risk Assessment for your planned activities. All events must include an interactive element as GATHER cannot be used solely for promotional purposes.

In addition exhibitions must open to the public from 10am to 4pm as a minimum and your team must staff the space throughout. Similarly you cannot hang artwork directly on the walls. Instead bring your own display stands or hanging systems.
