The current record is 88 people\, which means we’ll need 90+ volunteers to break it! \nArsenal was diagnosed with autism at the age of 49\, and has struggled with all forms of physical contact for most of his life. This will be Arsenal’s toughest challenge yet\, as he attempts to hug 90+ people in just 60 seconds. \nShow your support and sign up for a hug from Arsenal on the 19th January! Let’s be part of making history. \n  \nFAQs\nWho is Arsenal Whittick?\nArsenal Whittick was diagnosed with autism at the age of 49. For most of his life\, Arsenal has struggled with all forms of physical contact\, even with his daughters. Since his diagnosis\, has been dedicated to raising awareness of autism and the profound effects it can have on someone’s life. \n  \nIf I sign up\, what will I have to do?\nTo break the record\, Arsenal will need to hug 90+ different people in just 60 seconds. Register your interest and arrive at The Dolphin Poole before 1pm. Once the timer starts\, participants will need to run to Arsenal\, have a quick hug and promptly move out of the way for the next person. \n  \nAre there any requirements for who can sign up?\nAnyone can sign up\, as long as they are able to move quickly – as speed is very important in this challenge! For the record attempt to be valid\, Arsenal has to stay standing in one place whilst the participants run to him. \n  \nWhat happens if we don’t break the record the first time?\nAs we’ve got just 60 seconds on the clock\, it may take several attempts to break the record. \n
